Terms and Conditions of Service
Welcome to Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including audio recording, mixing, mastering, voice-over, and other related services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the services provided by Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
2. Services Offered
Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio offers a range of audio production services, including but not limited to:
- Audio Recording: Capturing audio performances using professional equipment and techniques.
- Mixing: Combining and enhancing individual audio tracks to create a balanced and polished sound.
- Mastering: Preparing final audio tracks for distribution on various platforms.
- Voice-Over Recording: Recording voice-overs for commercials, audiobooks, and other media.
- Audio Restoration: Repairing and improving damaged audio recordings.
- Podcast Production: Assisting in the creation and production of podcasts.
3. Booking and Scheduling
All bookings are subject to availability. A deposit may be required to secure your booking. Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio reserves the right to reschedule or cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. We will make every effort to provide reasonable notice and alternative arrangements.
4. Payment Terms
Payment for services is due in accordance with the agreed-upon payment schedule. We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. Late payments may be subject to interest charges. A detailed invoice will be provided for all services rendered.
5. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please provide us with as much notice as possible. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the agreed upon session cost. No-shows will be charged the full session rate.
6. Intellectual Property
The client retains ownership of the original audio recordings. Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio retains ownership of any edits, mixes, or masters created during the service. Upon full payment, the client will receive a license to use the final audio product for their intended purpose. Sonic Sanctuary reserves the right to use snippets of the project for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
7. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for:
- Providing all necessary materials, including audio files, scripts, and instructions, in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that all materials provided do not infringe upon any third-party rights, including copyright and trademarks.
- Approving the final audio product before distribution or public use.
8. Studio Etiquette
To ensure a productive and respectful environment for all clients and staff, the following studio etiquette guidelines must be followed:
- No smoking or illegal substances are permitted on the premises.
- Please be respectful of the equipment and facilities.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Clean up after yourself and leave the studio as you found it.
9. Limitation of Liability
Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.
10. Confidentiality
Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio agrees to keep all client information and materials confidential. We will not disclose any sensitive information to third parties without your express consent, unless required by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio, its officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your use of our services, your violation of these Terms and Conditions, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
13. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.

15. Studio Hours
Our standard studio hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Weekend and evening sessions may be available upon request and subject to additional fees.
16. Equipment Usage
Clients are permitted to use the studio's equipment under the supervision of our engineers. Any damage to equipment caused by misuse or negligence will be the responsibility of the client. We encourage you to bring your own instruments and equipment, but please inform us in advance.
17. Artist Representation
Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio does not offer artist representation or management services. We are solely focused on providing professional audio production services to our clients.
18. Termination
Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio reserves the right to terminate its services to any client who violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in any disruptive or unethical behavior. In the event of termination, any remaining fees will be due immediately.
